Designer paint is more expensive than the standard 'off the shelf ' paint, however I believe you get what you pay for. Designer paint generally contain more of the expensive ingredients such as pigments and titanium Dioxide, giving more depth of colour and greater coverage.

We decorated our farmhouse in Little Greene paint in 2017 and it still looks fresh today, even where our 2 spaniels sleep. We used the 3 shades of Little Greene's Portland stone nearly everywhere as it seems to coordinate with so many fabrics.

Choosing your paint colour can be quite overwhelming sometimes. Quite often  the colours on the computer screen can vary so its always a good idea to order a colour chart and match pot to make sure. I paint a piece of cardboard so that I can try the paint colour on different walls, its surprising how the colour changes in different rooms.
